The DDC awards ceremony.
Each awards ceremony began with a fanfare (which sounded a lot like the Monty Python theme song, I kept having this image of a giant foot squishing things) during the procession up to the awards stand. After medals had been draped over the medalists' necks, the national anthem of the winning player/team was played.
